Inscentinel Ltd. was formed in 2002 in order to exploit the highly sensitive olfactory ability of honey bees. It is funded by venture capitalists including the majority shareholder, Oxford Technology Venture Capitalist Trust.
Over the last five years Inscentinel has been working with large organisations, government departments, customs and the military to test and develop its unique technology for a range of real world applications.
Inscentinel is based at the internationally renowned Rothamsted Research institute, where it benefits from over a century of insect olfaction research.
